Mobile Cooler Steam Cleaning
We have a mobile hot wash system on a trailer that we clean sawmill HPU coolers with. Using a special aluminum detergent, we pressure wash and clean all the heat exchangers found in a sawmill. This service is done on-site with a small cart loaded with all the right cleaning utensils for the job.
First the motor, fan, and fingerguarding is removed and hung carefully aside. Then special detergent is sprayed on both faces of the heat exchanger. The dirt/sawdust that is packed into the sides and corners of the cooler shrouding is scraped out and both sides of the cooler get steam-cleaned until all the dirt has been cleaned out of the core and light is clearly visible through the core. Finally, the motor, fan, and fingerguarding is reassembled carefully and the unit is ready to operate.
